Lovingly called Duda, Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer is one of the most respected CEOs of Brazil. He is the current chief executive officer of the family-owned RBS Group. Even though it was known long before he joined the company that he would one day earn this position, it was not easy for him. Since joining the company in 2014, he has held different positions and worked with the various departments in the company to gain experience on how everything works. He is the third generation of his family to have held the position of the CEO. The company was founded by his grandfather in 1957 and have grown immensely in the past decade.

During this time, he also completed internships with top companies for the experience. After earning his MBA degree, he worked with top companies in America, including Delphi Corporation and Box Top Media. After that, he returned to Brazil and was happy to join the RBS Group in 2004. Being a planned succession, he always knew that he would be promoted to the top level of the company, but he did not take it lightly. He worked hard and learned the smallest details to ensure that when he is given the position, he is able to fulfill his duty.
According to Globo, apart from the RBS Group, he also started a media company with the name of e.Bricks that secured a $300 million funding. Duda aims to diversify the portfolio of the RBS Group and adopt newer technology into its business. But, he wants to stay true to his roots and not forget the values that his grandfather had set for his company. He intends to take the company to greater heights than what his grandfather and his uncle could have thought of.
